Councillor Carr Hosts Town Hall Meetings on Democracy and Development in Vancouver 

 

In response to the growing rift between City Council and city neighbourhoods, Adriane Carr, Vancouver’s first Green Party City Councillor, is hosting three Town Hall meetings focused on democracy and development in Vancouver. The meetings will include short presentations by Carr, local community representatives, and planning experts as well as question and answer sessions. Admission is free.

Grandview-Woodland Town Hall: Saturday Nov. 2 

2:30-4:30 pm, Britannia/Eastside Family Place Canuck’s Room, William St at Grandview Park

 

Invited speakers: Jak King of Grandview-Woodland Area Council, former Vancouver City Planner Peter Burch 

 

                        Marpole Town Hall: Wednesday Nov. 6

7-9:30 pm, Marpole-Oakridge Community Centre, 990 W. 59th Ave
