The OCP and Financial Sustainability

Further to Councillor Heywood’s inquiry at Council last Monday regarding tax rates, he will bring a motion forward on January 20th at Council.  The attached document is support for the motion,  quoting in part:

“What the tables show is a clear pattern of expenditures on a per capita basis in both the City and District that are not sustainable in the long run.”

“This is why any Official Community Plan with a 30 year horizon should have detailed consideration of financial sustainability as one of its core concerns.”
