North Vancouver’s Lower Lonsdale attracts a surge of city dwellers.
From the Georgia Strait –
The entire piece appears to be a developer’s press release. I’m surprised the Georgia Strait headlined it.
What is very obvious to some of us on the North Shore is the absence of any information about our two crossings. Those who are pushing for development don’t appear to mention the fact that with the population explosion, the traffic on two bridges is increasing at a rapid rate. Ask yourselves WHY a traffic problem is never mentioned . The ONLY way to control development on the North Shore Is to vote for those who can and will control over development on our North Shore. The only way this is going to work is to vote in candidates
who state publicly that they will use common sense in dealing with development. The most important fact here is to get out and vote. What happens every time is not enough citizens get out and vote at election time. Then guess who wins!! When the time comes, PLEASE get out and vote!!
