This article is going to challenge candidates for Vancouver City Council to consider withdrawing from the civic election on November 15, 2014. The final deadline is Friday, October 17 (4 pm) for candidates to withdraw from the race. (City’s election info page here.)

We challenge independents (as well as candidates with all parties challenging the incumbents) to consider doing so, and putting your support behind someone with whom you agree. (But talk to them first. Some discussion and perhaps even negotiation would be wise.)
