We have received a copy of a letter written to the City of North Vancouver by Evan Cooke, a lawyer with Borden Ladner Gervais. The letter writer attended the Public Hearing in January for the application at 161 E Keith Rd, and is acting on behalf of a client. Quoting in part: ‘We think the City’s novel approach to density calculation and reporting was at best, opaque and perhaps more properly, misleading’.
He also brings up in the letter the commonly asked question at public hearings (that is never answered by the majority of Council members): ‘In short, did any member of the Council, including the Mayor, accept a donation from the Applicant or any closely related parties?’
We follow this with much interest.
